With a business administration background, Monika has developed a strong interest in organizational effectiveness, stakeholder engagement, and strategic problem solving through her academic and professional experiences.

Monika has Bachelor of Business Administration from the University of Regina, majoring in Human Resources Management at the Paul J. Hill School of Business.

She has held roles across academic, private sector, and not-for-profit environments, gaining exposure to diverse organizational contexts and stakeholder needs. As a Teaching Assistant, she supports course delivery in management communication and marketing, providing detailed feedback and facilitating workshops that translate theory into practical application. 

Monika has also been actively involved in JDC West, both as a Business Technology Management delegate and as the incoming VP Conferences on the organizing committee. These roles have involved intensive case preparation, collaboration under tight timelines, and large-scale event coordination, providing practical experience in structured problem solving and stakeholder management. 

Through her broader leadership in student-led organizations, she has contributed to the planning and execution of high-impact initiatives, strengthening her ability to manage competing priorities and deliver results in fast-paced environments.
